About

I’m a licensed clinical social worker and therapist who has spent years working with first responders, veterans, healthcare workers, and other helping professionals. Before I built Operational Wellness Project, I worked within traditional mental health settings and alongside emergency services. Over time, I started noticing a gap — not just in access to care, but in how care is delivered and understood within responder culture.I don’t believe mental health support should only show up at the point of crisis.I built this practice around a different idea: that responders and helpers deserve proactive, practical, and culturally competent support that understands the realities of the work they do every day.My approach is direct, collaborative, and grounded in real-world experience. I’m not interested in overcomplicating things or turning therapy into something people feel like they have to “fit into.” I’m interested in meeting people where they are and helping them move toward a life that feels more sustainable and more like their own.Operational Wellness Project exists to support that process — through therapy, consultation, education, and critical incident support — with a focus on keeping helpers operational and improving quality of life.
